International transport

Temperature-controlled transport to and from Germany

Goes' core activity is international transport. Goes has a closely-knit distribution network in Germany, which mainly concentrates on the distribution of fruit, vegetables, flowers and plants, but other products requiring temperature-controlled transport are also not a problem. From various harbours, including the largest sea harbours in the world, the goods to be distributed are collected in the temperature-controlled Handling Centre in De Meern, where they are sorted for groupage transport. From there, a large number of lorries, if necessary supplemented by chartered lorries, distribute the goods throughout Germany.

Temperature-controlled transport to and from France and Italy

Intrapat is a subsidiary of Goes and mainly concentrates on the southern European fruit growing regions and the French harbours. France and Italy are the main destinations. Since the company has a large number of modern temperature-controlled lorries, Intrapat can guarantee the quality of all the (fresh) products it transports. These lorries travel every day from the Netherlands or Belgium to Southern Europe and the loads can vary from flowers and flower bulbs to plants and from fresh fruit and vegetables to frozen ice-cream.

Transfer stations

Goes transports a wide variety of goods, which makes international transport a complex task. Goes does everything it can to make the transport process as streamlined and as quick as possible. In order to gain time, some of the transport does not go through De Meern. Goes also uses a modern, temperature-controlled transfer station in Antwerp.
